Postcolonial Europe

Postcolonial Europe concerns itself with several overlapping fields.
  • Postcolonial and postimperial European negotiations of their colonial experience.
  • European ex-colonies' reworking of their colonial histories.
  • Postcolonial relations between ex-colonial powers and ex-colonies.
  • The relationship between colonialism and colonial history in Europe and its former colonies and contemporary migration in relation to globalisation, the current crisis of neoliberalism and the circulation of racist representation in conceptualisations of the European self.
Forsideomslag This volume has recently been released in paperback by Edinburgh University Press.
